Jarod is a pathetic arc boss, and is far from capable of beating the Black Knight even if he had a proper weapon.

I had to RAM hack the game to even get this done, by setting Black Knight's HP to 0. In a surprisingly comical twist, the devs wrote up text for this literally impossible dialog. Even Micaiah is sick of my What If videos by now hah

Can we just appreciate the attention to detail in the Tellius games? Taking time to write a death quote for a character that literally cannot die unless you cheat is pretty cool. Not even FE4 had that kind of stuff (it's theoretically possible to have Quan and Ethlyn survive Travant's shish kabob party with endless amounts of RNG abuse, but the game will still proceed as if they're dead, because the game does everything it can to make saving them impossible).

Reminds me of Amuro Ray in the original Gundam Novels. Guy slaughters countless nobodies and beat Char, but out of nowhere a lucky nobody zaku pilot or whatever lands a shot on Amuro's Gundam and kills him.

And I just love radiant dawn. You're required to keep BK alive just so he can come back as a boss and try to kill Ike.


I wish Zelgius could've lived. Loved to have had him as a character in the final battles and continue his relationship (friendship) with Lehran.
