Number eight: you are not after money alone. You are after making the best truck you can, and you genuinely care about your costumers and workers.

I think you folks are fantastic!!so proud of you and your team for figuring this shit out without any government ‘assistance’ and putting out excellent, sustainable and fixable products. If my parents were still trucking, they would be proud owners of one of your big rigs, for sure!! Keep up the good work. All of Western Canada is rooting for you!!

I'm starting a business now, same ethos I'm not trying to get rich quick I'm trying to build a legacy that will make the world a better place.

THAT SAID, I need your trucks. I do not want EGR diesel trucks it's a dead end waste of money. Your trucks are the future of heavy industry, keep up the great work and I look forward to doing business with you!

I am excited for when these guys “go public” because it’s absolutely an investment I want to make. If I was closer to these dudes, I would love to part of the mechanic team.

Hopefully when they go public, I can set up franchise location in my area. I’m sure they would do great here (lots of fracking and mining where I’m at).

I’m also excited to see how things will change regionally once more people are making these trucks across the Americas and across the world.

The last truck I bought was a Pete 379 exhd...was my last truck. But if I was to choose another, I would be getting in line to get one of yours sir.... Your approach is more than just refreshing. Considering what's on the market today for the money... its revolutionary👍

Man, I remember the first video I saw of yours when you were just talking about starting this venture asking the community what they thought of the idea. I also believe I remember you selling company shares to raise capital, I was so close to doing it but just couldn't afford it. That might have been someone else, but I'm pretty sure it was you and dang, I think I'll regret that choice forever. I don't know you, but I'm seriously proud and inspired by what you've accomplished here. Keep it up!

The focus on right to repair is huge for me. I'm not sold on electric yet, but Edison would be my first choice if I had to go that route

I think the best selling point you guys have is that you're not looking to sell your customers a proprietary trap where y'all are the only ones that can repair and maintain it. You're looking to sell them something that doesn't require a manufacturer service department. You don't want to see the stuff you built back in your shop. It's built by drivers and mechanics, for drivers and mechanics.

I think that it was also a super smart move to try to use as many off the shelf parts as possible, so that if a buyer does have any concerns about the longevity of your "start up", they can have confidence there won't be any issues getting parts

for me it's the real integrity and honesty y'all have. it's sad how little we see that with companies these days

I think the face of the company will be the main reason for Edison motors success. Keep it up brother.

How lucky could you be to be a part of something like this. Being a mechanic myself I think this would be a career highlight for anyone involved.

Number 8: You know your place. Instead of competing with the other bulti-million companies overthe next electric distribution truck or trying to squeeze another 0.1% efficiency out if highway trucks by using F1-level aerodynamics, you stick to your thing. And not only is the logging/construction sector kinda overlooked by electric trucks, your focus on repairability is rather unique.

Also, your no debts strategy is really smart. Whilst loaning money can help you grow the company faster, having to pay interest forces you to make profits quickly. There are maby stories of people with genuinely great ideas that ended up rushing them to market prematurely because they had to make money to pay for the loans. Products that were half assed and ended up flopping because of it, but could've changed the world if they had a bit more time to work things out.

Keep doing what you're doing

I love e your transparency brother. Got a dodge w150 I'd like to slap the electric axle kit into when the 360 in it dies. I was 10 years old thinking all these metal frames around that you can bolt electric car guts right to them seems like a waste of resources then a few years later I come on here and someone like Edison who originally was a dissatisfied customer not only is doing my 10 year old thought but they're surpassing it and going to make a good business out of it. Keep up the good work I pray you're successful gents

Getting debt as a business means that you're very often forced to make use of those funds right away and expand way too fast for your own good just to be able to pay the loan back. Glad you're taking the slow route and not the "blitzscaling" route that so many startups fall for and eventually end in them burning out.

This should be all over the news, this project is fantastic. I’m interested in the pickup version. I need to scrape and save but these things are awesome.
