So here is my weekly meal prep for our family plus friends. Like I said in the video, my son Gideon said that they needed more food that the bento boxes weren't enough and so I decided to make their favorite grilled, chicken salad sandwiches and then I made homemade Cheez-Its, which were a big hit last time I made them.

The chicken salad recipe is super easy:

4 to 8 pounds of grilled chicken breast, cut into chunks Red grapes cut in half
One stock of celery, cutting the small pieces 3 cups of mayo
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
Half a tablespoon of salt
Half a tablespoon of pepper

So you can adjust these measurements to what you like, you can add some celery seed if you'd like or deal that would be really good.
There's a lot of different ways to make chicken salad, but sometimes it's nice just to have it just simple and plain without all the extras.
You can even add eggs if you'd like to make an egg salad that would be really good

Homemade Cheez-It recipe :

One cup of all purpose, flour
One cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of butter, cold, cubed
2 to 3 tablespoons of cold milk

Directions:

Add all your dry ingredients together and pulse in a food processor till it’s nice and crumbly then add your butter continue to pulse until mixed well. Then add your cold milk and pulse until it starts to form a little bit of a dough ball. 

Make sure when you roll them out you roll them out super super thin then cutting the squares put a hole into each square sprinkle with some more salt and you’re gonna bake those at 350 to 75° for about 10 to 12 minutes

If you’d like to add different kinds of cheeses or spices you can, you can add some garlic powder and onion powder or use Parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese instead. The possibilities are endless. You can do whatever you’d like with it. Try adding a dash of red pepper flakes that’s really really good

Now this is a proper meal prep with real food. Not like the ketchup sandwich or nutella roll ups I saw from other videos. Love your videos!

One of the greatest pieces of advice I get: put another parchment paper on the top of your dough before rolling it. Saves so much time and energy. Also, thank you so much for your videos, I'm a mother of three little boys that are good eaters, and aspire to a bigger family ! Love to see how you thrive through this ! If you use 2 ceramic plates you can cut grape and cherry tomatoes much faster. Turn one over, put the tomatoes or grape in the circle on the plate bottom, put the other plate on top with the bottom down and using a long knife, holding top plate down, slice through all at once. I enjoyed your video. Thank you.

I absolutely love Chicken salad so this is definitely a must try for me! I sometimes buy an already cooked rotisserie chicken from grocery store to make chicken salad, and it’s become one of my favorites!

I got a great lunch idea for ya - every year when my husband would travel away from home to got hunting for a week - I would make him and the whole hunting camp Strombolis - small hand held Strombolis - I bought frozen dough - any kinds of lunch meats and cheeses - took time the dough to thaw rise and dive up - press feel fold and back - easy breezy lemon squeeze - loved by all - at home and camp - I made them pocket size to travel out in the woods with everyone - no need for any sauce or veggies to make them soggy - bread meat cheese - now I’m craving these guys - haven’t made them in years but I could fill the freezer with them - love your ideas for meals celebrations and love of family -

Looks great! Chicken and grape salad is one of my favorites. May want to put the bun top in the second compartment when filling. Saves time trying to match them up later.

That looks delicious!! I would be afraid putting it on the bread would make it soggy but I bet it's yummy. Great job!

I love those containers. My daughter is always watching animals for people, designing costumes for a theater show, working in the costume shop, or has rehearsal for a show (usually all at the same time) at her college. My daughter is always so busy that she would just grab fast food which is not healthy. I got a lot of different kinds of those and made her a lunch or put leftovers in them for her dinner. She could just grab one when she gets home or take one with her. She loves it.

I was born in Albion, Michigan and raised in Homer Michigan. One of my favorite things to make with my dad and gran was bologna salad. You ground ring bologna, pickles and onion in a meat grinder. You could even freezer the base mixture. I now live in California and can't get ring bologna or pickled bologna out here.

I sprinkle a little bit of ranch pack in mine and that gives that salad a nice zip also.
