I had the same thing twice withing 1 year because of COVID. May 2021 - July 2021 ---- COVID Delta variant. August 2022 --- COVID Ba4 Omicron. Both the times I was on ECMO support but breathing with ventilator 100 % oxygen. Now I am fully recovered.

This is very very impressive. I dont quite understand what the ICU's perogative was to continue ECMO as even 3 weeks on ECMO would ring all alarm bells that patient was not likely to make it!
