Powerful Scene from The Chosen - After the disciples discuss their personal challenges and hardships, Simon (Peter) confronts Matthew about his past disgrace to his people and his wealth as a tax collector, Simon expressing his vow to never forgive him.

Guilt then takes over all the deciples as they watch Jesus stumble through the camp, battered and over-exhausted from spending a selfless day and a night of nonstop healing of the sick and crippled.

My take away from this scene is how the followers realized they were thinking about themselfs that entire day, and they realized that and felt shame when they saw Jesus exhausted from only thinking about others and helping people that entire day.

This is one of the most profound prayers.

The disciples in Jesus story are also a reflection on our behaviour and it shows that no matter what Jesus wants us flaws and all

This is so relevant. a lot of Faithful believers of God (No matter the Denomination) have become lost in their own opinions and minds about "Non-Converts" and Newer Members of the Church. it turns into a war between brothers and sisters over the dumbest things like one's past sins and mistakes which are erased by God when they repent of their since and Accept Jesus in their hearts. it's sad. but it's the truth and all of a sudden God Speaks to us about it and we are silenced. we feel guilty.

You know, I am glad to be watching this show. The Bible was written such a long time ago, the language used to be very formal and it is sometimes difficult to understand well. The Chosen makes me understand it better, because of its modern day language.

Sadly thats how we still behave till this day even the people who claim to follow Jesus feel the need to judge others and dont forgive me included

Interesting...
Mother Mary says you have blood on your hands...

Foreshadowing the crucifixion?
Or is Mary indirectly talking to future people about Jesus's sacrifice??
