It’s one of our most discussed (and debated) moments from Season 3. Little James has followed Jesus faithfully despite a painful disability. Now, when he receives power to heal others, James must ask why he hasn’t been healed himself.

You can watch the rest of Season 3, Episode Two—along with the full series—for free in The Chosen app.

As a believer who suffers physically with two different chronic pain conditions…wow, is all I can say. I hurt so bad every single day. Some days all I want above everything else in this world is relief. I am literally crying after watching this scene. Thank you Father for loving me and allowing these words to fill my heart. Blessed be Your name❤

When he said “slow to speak…a very good quality to have” …it’s crazy that He always finds good in our bad❤

I'm glad I watched this. I'm an autistic person who has been told by the world that I am defective and I'm also a person who struggles with depression and anxiety as well as trauma from an abusive childhood. I have a testimony of the things God has done for me in spite of my struggles and that's what matters. GOD'S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.

"Because I trust you..."

I broke down when I first heard this. Do you guys ever think, maybe God doesn't remove our thorns because He trust that inspite of our struggles, sickness, and circumstances, He knows we will still do the right thing?

Imagine having a struggle with alcohol as a believer and God sends you a non-believer who is an alcoholic. NO ONE will be able to relate to that non believer like YOU. God trusts inspite of YOUR sin, you WILL do the right thing when the time is right and ultimately choose Him.

Hallelujah 🌻

My husband has been in a wheelchair (Spinal injury) for the last 26 years. He doesn't watch the chosen BUT happened to be watching this episode with me. He had tears in his eyes. I was bawling. God is so good.

As someone who has had 3 kidney transplants and is currently 12 years on hemo dialysis 3 days a week, i am grateful for all the Lord has graced me with so far. I will be 50 in a few months and have been going though kidney stuff since I was 15. After watching this scene, i felt a rush come over me and thats when I knew, I needed Jesus! He has been here the whole time!
The Chosen is not just a show, it is hope for all those who watch it.
God Bless

As I lay next ro my mama, who is currently passing, i randonly come acriss this clip. She suffered from rhuematoid arthritis, followed by lupus, and ..since she was 34 it kept taking her slowly, she just turned 70.
Last week..she just got too weak..stopped eating..we loved the chosen. It's ironic to me that season 4 is about grief..I won't be watching it with her. She was so smart..so guided by the holy spirit..I'm comforted knowing where she's going, and that I'll see her again. As an only child, she's my world, I needed this clip so bad..because..even tho she's struggled so bad woth basic tasks because of ra, spon she'll be leaping like a deer.

I remember watching this in theaters and the entire crowd was crying. So powerful.

Imagine how hard it must be to hear something like that and comprehend the depth of the message while putting your own personal wants to the side and having unwavering faith to the very end. Its powerful. Best representation of faith.

"You will be healed, it's only a matter of time". This line left me in tears. Oh God. Help me to be patient to wait for Your healing.

This hit me hard! When I was 22, I was diagnosed with Vitiligo. I allowed this illness to define me, to take control of me. I felt just like James here in this scene...angry and hurt that God chose not to heal me. I am 34 now, still unhealed. But this scene has taught me that my illness doesn't define me. I have to be patient with my suffering here, so that I can spend eternity without suffering in heaven. God still loves me and I am not a burden.
