What is Solubility? Chemistry
Показать описание
This animated lecture is about solubility and examples of solubility in Chemistry.
Q: What is solubility?
Ans: The amount of solute dissolved in 100 grams of solvent to prepare a saturated solution at a given temperature is called solubility.
For example, take 100 grams water in a beaker at 30 degree Celsius. Now dissolve 20 grams sugar in the water. Again take 20 sugar and dissolve it in the water such that you prepare a saturated solution. So, we say that the solubility of sugar in 100 grams water is 40 grams at 30 degree Celsius.
