Leslie Van Houten has been released from prison after Gov. Gavin Newsom declined to continue fighting her parole facing the likelihood he would not win in court.

Why in the world would they let her out on parole. You can't bring back any of the victims of those horrible crimes. Shame on the judicial system failing us again. She is worthless baggage that should have been left in prison.

Since she wasn’t executed way back then, 50 so years is enough, let her spend the remaining of her life free, I say. Yes, yes what about the victims and so on, horrible, unfortunate, but over 50 years is almost lifetime and now she’s over 70 years, come on, have a heart, I know what she did is horrible and she’s not entitled by justice to be free, but can’t we after 50 years forgive her and let her spend the few remaining years free?

At least she didn't walk away with a slap on the wrist. 53 years is a long time to be in prison. She deserved every year for taking part in multiple cold-blooded murders.

I hope she repented of all she did. That was a terrible crime but they're teenagers who were brainwashed. I'm sure she regretted it. She got longer time than most molesters, rapist and serial killers.

A Woman Caught in Adultery
