It's beyond comprehension why her death sentence was commuted to life with the possibility of parole.

She’s was 19 at the time, in a cult, on strong acid and is 73 now. She earned her masters degree behind bars. There is no way she’s the same person now. I believe she’s been rehabilitated. She wants to get a job and become a productive member of society. Let her.

Sick. She should have stayed in prison till death came for her just like it did for her guru Charles Manson. She doesn't deserve to see daylight outside of a prison cell. She held a pillowcase over this poor woman's face while she was repeatedly stabbed and then took her turn...over a dozen stabbed wounds from Van Houten herself. I can't believe people here think her 53 years in prison was long enough. They murdered a BABY. They killed its mother and cut it out of her and murdered the baby too. Not to mention all the other people they murdered that night. Life in prison was a gift. This makes me sick.

A Woman Caught in Adultery

8 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. They put her in front of the crowd.

4 “Teacher, ” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

Stabbing a pregnant innocent woman in the stomach 12 times killing her and the child is one of the worst crimes I've ever heard of, , and I'm puzzled how she is released, , when other less vicious murderers are still serving life without parole...in fact, , if she has the right to be released, , then all of the other less vicious murderers should also be released, , because I've never heard of another case where a pregnant woman was stabbed in the stomach 12 times killing her and the child...once again, , this is one of the worst crimes that I've ever heard of in human history, , and even Ted bundy, , John Wayne gasey, , and Richard Ramirez, , never committed a particular murder as brutal as this woman...like I said, , stabbing a pregnant woman 12 times in her stomach killing her and the child is the lowest of the low, , and I personally believe that she should be mentioned in the same breath as the worst of the worst...Joel guy jr, , the bever brothers, , the Menendez brothers, , Scott Peterson, , Diane Downs, , David Alan Westerfield, , leornard lake, , and Charles Ng, , just to name a few...however, , it is possible that GOD or the judicial system was merciful to her considering her age, , considering her being brainwashed by fellow cult members, , or considering that she was high on hallucinogenic drugs during her crimes...drugs are definitely known to alter reality, , preception, , interpretation, , feelings, , and emotions...

I don't understand this. All people should sign a petition to be back to prison. I don't live in the US, but what they have done is horrible and she shall not be released. This is a big mistake.😢
