Hey great video I think you really hit all the points nicely. One quick lesser known fact is that Madison was originally modeled off of Geneva, Switzerland which makes a lot of sense when you look at it as a whole.

Can you give me some restaurant recommendations… I haven’t been so impressed with the food scene here in Madison

I've lived in Madison for 24 years, it's great, I love Madison! I love it, but to just dwell on the few bad things about it for a moment:
• the homeless beggars can be aggressive (the city is very safe overall though)
• Most mid-priced restaurants are of low quality
• Lots of marijuana, lots, it’s everywhere
• traffic is bad bc the lakes bottle things up
- lots and lots and lots of street construction
• Housing and rents are too expensive
• Good luck trying to find a dine-in coffee shop open after 8 p.m.
- The winters can be brutal, but just like any Midwestern city

Some good information here, but your statement that Madison's politics are evenly divided between liberal and conservative is insane.. While that might be true of Wisconsin as a whole, Madison is one of the most overwhelmingly liberal/progressive cities in the US. That's not exactly a secret, and I find it hard to believe that anybody who's ever lived here wouldn't know that.

What neighborhood would you avoid to buy in to avoid airplane noise around Madison?

A.K.A. The People's Republic of Madistan. Need one say more? 90 square miles surrounded by reality.

. Madison is divided politically? Really? Do you really live there? Also the schools are pretty decent. But to say that Madison is split is absolutely ridiculous.

huh? Dane county voted like 75%-25% for Biden. The surrounding counties are pretty split 50-50 though

Madison votes about 75% or higher for democrats, and that's at Dane County as a whole. The city of Madison is most likely voting 90%+ democrat. Dane County is nothing but blue, even the rural parts.
