Natural wood floors are technically the trend right now based on their overall gain in percentage of flooring sales, so… They ding easily, separate in overly moist or dry climates, and are hard to take care of properly; I honestly see this trend decreasing in favor of more durable materials.

Carpet is where its at. Take your shoes and socks off and walk barefooted on some nice carpet. Shit on wood floors. 🍻

Natural wood doesn't mean anyhting, the natural wood used in the 80s or 90s was dark and is totally out of trend now.
Best to install a cheap flooring you can replace in 10 years than being stuck with an outdated hardwood floor.
Not to mentiom that they're a trouble to maintain.
I have a natural oak floor in my house, looks great, but would not have chosen it if I had a choice.

Justifying your own industry, that’s when you know you are obsolete. Products and labor speak for themselves, if you have to sell it hard, it ain’t worth shit.

No hardwood floors will not last 80 years. Maybe before modern appliances and plumbing, but in today's day and age, most hardwood flooring needs to be replaced after 20 years. Yeah maybe hardwood floors in a closet will last 80 years lol.
