To order food from IRCTC eCatering, visit the website or download the app, enter your 10-digit PNR number to retrieve your train details, and select the station where you want the food delivered.

Browse the available restaurants at the chosen station, add your desired food items to the cart, and proceed to checkout.

After reviewing your order, pay using the available online options, including COD. Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation message with the delivery details, and the restaurant's delivery personnel will deliver your food to your seat at the specified station.

Yes have used this feature many times to deliver food to my dad who travels quite frequently on business trips.
Just book whatever he wants to eat through the app and the food gets delivered to him on the seat.
Out of the 9-10 times I have ordered, only once the food was not delivered 😅

It's actually one epic feature they have. Considering how messy the railway system is with the amount of crowd, it's extra impressive they can do this.

You can order it in their app for a later railway station and they will just reach you on time
