RTX 2080 Ti FE Review, Overclocking, & Benchmarks

This review of the nVidia RTX 2080 Ti vs. RTX 2080 & GTX 1080 Ti shows the maximum current potential of Turing GPUs in gaming, overclocking, acoustics, and thermals.

The RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition card outperforms the GTX 1080 Ti, expectedly, so that's a good start when considering the equivalence of a GTX 1080 Ti vs. RTX 2080 non-Ti. Still, we must consider the immense price increase of the RTX 2080 Ti over the previous generation, and balance its performance improvements over that price increase. They don't line-up -- the 2080 Ti increases price nearing 70%, but performance by just 15-30%. What a rough launch for nVidia.

(Note: at 10:00, there is a typographical error where the 1% and 0.1% lows are reversed)

TFW the comment section is more excited for a cute kitty than a brand new graphics card.

You know if you tried to sell Snowflake plushies, I bet they'd sell like crazy.

I was really considering the upgrade from a 1080 ti until today. This is hugely disappointing from a value standpoint.

Watched. Enjoyed. Learned what I wanted to know. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks.

Steve help me Didn't Nvidia say this is the largest generation performance jump in a while? However, in the pascal vs maxwell edition didn't the 1070 match or exceed the 980 ti performance. Not looking so good for the 2070 from this data alone....

Not quite the generational leap I had hoped for. Oh well, see you in a couple of years I guess.

Remember when a GPU didn't cost the entire price of what used to be considered a high end PC. Remember how a $1200 dollar PC would actually get you the top of the line GPU?

I like the disclaimer at the end "something like this shirt that I'm wearing but not literally this one" lmao

The pricing scheme is rigged for Nvidia to sell the rest of their last gen overrun supply of 10 series cards. Im suprised to not see anyone acknowledge this.

Nobody cares about the card, we care about Snowflake

I'm still rocking an R7 250x in my kids fx 6300 build. Cost of cards is just too much.
