AMD's RDNA 2 event is tomorrow and the rumours are strongly suggesting a 3070 competitor with 16GB of VRAM.

I've been using my 3070 for God Of War and Horizon at Ultra settings at 60fps. More than enough for single player games. Currently playing the Witcher 3 next gen update at 4K Ultra Settings at 30fps no RT though. For single player games I plrarher higher visuals than frame rate.

It definitely wins the price v performance battle over the 2080ti. In Australia when the 2080ti came out it was $2k, give or take a hundred here or there, while the 3070 released at a $1k average - so nearly $1k difference - which is massive in Australia particularly given the performance similarities

Great review Rich. I'd certainly like to see more "gen on gen on gen". I for one, am still on the 1070ti as I have been waiting for the 30 series. I suspect many others are in a similar position so it was nice to see that cross section of gens.
