AORUS RTX 2080 Ti Review.... (RTX 2080 & RTX 2070 Vs. GTX 1080 Ti)

Here is the Aorus line up of RTX 2000 series cards, essentially being an upgraded version from the Gigabyte RTX line up of cards, with RGB Ring Fans that support tri-color, double ball bearing 100mm bIades and a beefy cooler that can keep overclocks under control.
Today we also take a look at this card vs the GTX 1080, 1080 ti, and other RTX cards I have reviewed in the past to see where this Pre-OC cards fall in the benchmarks.

These look pretty sweet, I bought one just before they started bundling BF 5 with it though RIP 😭

An honest question, do people really care about the 1 fps difference between different vendors? I am much more interested in the acoustics and cooling capabilities if it comes to comparing different vendors, but same GPU.

Please do think about doing noise normalized tests if it comes to vendor comparing, that would be more insightful.

What type of wipes do you use to clean your computer parts? Whenever I tried to use wipes on a motherboard all of the rough, poky metal things caught the wipe making it impossible to wipe it down and the metal pokey things tear apart the wipes leaving fibers everywhere.

Aorus card looks better, is faster and is potentially less likely to explode than strix

What i get from your review is that the 2080ti is JUST 18% faster then the 1080ti ?!
Im so glad i bought the 1080ti instead of the 2080ti ! ( it saved me over 700 bucks ! )

took the plunge and bought an Aorus 2080Ti xtreme waterforce edition on the weekend to go with a 9700k i7 cpu, wholly smokes, this setup is so much better than my 1080ti founders edition with a 7700k cpu. finally playing BF5 holding constant 165fps+ @ 1440p high setting with no stutter in the heat of action. what a treat to be able to play in peace and quiet without my gtx card fans screaming in pain.

The rtx 2060 uses the old aorus design, such a shame.

In the benchmarks you show 1440p and 4k numbers, though would those numbers be similar (in terms of the gaps) at 1080p? Thanks!

Great videos, i really enjoy them since you are normal and modest guy...nothing shiny and with make up...One thing pls.Try to get into benchmarks also 1080p since 66% gamers on Steam are on 1080p still and most of "us" are playing FPS games to have more frames and not to look nice ( 4K Ultra )... so many games are even running all LOW so they can benefit from 144HZ and 240HZ monitors...

Whats the differences between the 2080 ti and the Xtreme edition of the Aorus cards?

Just snagged another open-box RTX 2080 Aorus Extreme for $540us. That is by far, the best deal on a premium RTX2080 that i've seen. Also, I found some Aorus RTX 2070's for $400. I just couldn't grab'em. though, i'll definitely be heading back to pick a couple of those up. Remember RGB sells and a couple of these in some z370 Aorus Gaming 7's ($150) with a couple 5GHz 8700K's ($250) consider these builds SOLD.
