Getting Bayyinah TV and listening to Tafsir was the huge push that caused me to revert last August. So grateful to Nouman, my internal world has never been so at peace.

Alhamdulillah, may Allah raise Nouman in His ranks in Jannah

I am a Turk from Germany. We have been living here for about a century, but we have not forgotten who we are, where we come from and who we descend from. Unfortunately, a handful of people identify as German, which doesn't mean that we are all German. Alhamdulillah we are Muslims Alhamdulillah I am a Muslim! We will never forget what our ancestors sacrificed for this religion, even if some other peoples want us to. Greetings from Germany 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷

I lost it at the example of Algeria since I belong to it, and I couldn't have said it better. At the surface, it may seem well-collected, but in reality, our identity is very fragmented. It's something i contemplate about like our history, culture and our social structure, Interestingly enough, you stated it all. One thing I admire about Ustadh Nouman is that he puts all my thoughts into words. Subhan'Allah, recently I've been thinking about the nature of idols. Listening to you, I learned that everything in the quran has to be relevant to any generation. So humanity indeed have progressed, and with the popularization of sciences, people are no longer impressed by temples and statues and superstitions. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean they disappeared. It's just they manifest in a different way. When you think of statues, people didn't worship them just bcuz they're made of stones of gold. Otherwise, they would've prostrated to any stone or mountain they see. But they special cuz they assigned a certain "soul" and "hopes" on it. And a lot of times, they turn them into a mediator between them and God. Which made me wonder how does manifest in modern times... an idol is easy to detect, so one can easily be weary of it. but now it's become abstract concepts. I still lack the answer for that. Nevertheless, detection of such matter shouldn't be a justification to point fingers at anyone or exclude them from the umma. Or to take it to an extreme level to the point where the use of beads lace to do remembrance of Allah is among shirki stuff. As I said, it's more subtle cuz it's an idea, one that pushes to people to follow the steps of the unbelievers, either in the the name of science or social superiority, when it is at the end of the day merely based on superstition. May Allah guide all of us and protect us from deviation

You made us “addicted” to Qur’an and now we need a “dose” of this book every day. Have to listen to you otherwise something always feels missing.
Then decided to join your “Rehab centre” Bayyinah and realised that this addiction has now increased Alhumdulillah 😀

I am an Indian Muslim and what you say about the Indian weddings is so true... We have a lot of non muslim elements in our weddings and people won't let you have a simple wedding it's so difficult to fight with them and stand firm on our decision 😢😢😢

This guy is amazing, he can recite, he can explain the Quran, he can reflect the hidden meanings of words used by Allah and the analogies used by him can be easily taken in

Absolutely true, as a child I hated having a slightly brown skin color, I didn't like to see my parents outside school when they came to pick me up because I thought others would make fun of me just because we are Muslims, I was ashamed of who I was and wanted to look as much like them as possible. But I realize that Allah swt has given me a great opportunity and I must not waste this opportunity, may allah forgive me and forgive us

Salam Aleykum. As a convert, I sometimes feel lost and torn. I have been feeling like this after ramadan. Your guidance from the Qu'ran today brought my focus back to the beginning, why I chose Islam. Where I belong! Masha’Allah
Thank you 🙏🏽

As a member of Bayyinah TV, i love watching your classes whenever i see on youtube too. The more i learn, the more i realize how much of a losss i am in and how much richnesss i am surrounded with. As a Turkish, living in Turkiye, we have the same exact problem with our Turkish brothers living in Germany. We hadnt had to migrate to lose our identity western culture reached here and people are ashamed of being a part of muslim community let alone their heritage. They love our colonizers. May Allah help us before a huge fitnah come to us

Sadly, many today prioritize cultural acceptance over genuine spiritual growth. Nouman Ali Khan's message on idolizing feelings is crucial, reminding us to prioritize faith over fleeting societal approval. Let's strive for a deeper connection with our religion, not just for cultural acceptance.
