The Crown Season 5: What You Need To Know About The New Cast |⭐ OSSA

The Crown season five is going to be crucial. The series is entering the new modern era! We would like to welcome abroad brilliant actors and actresses who become a part of the iconic project about The British monarchy. The plot is reaching the year 1991 which is a well-known period of the royal family life story. As the events are modern, viewers will be picky, but the most exciting part is what real royal family members are thinking about the new season! Dominic West, for example, the one who plays Prince Charles has admitted that he met the real prince "a couple of times" and the actor's wife has a long-standing friendship with a royal family member.

In the new season of The Crown, we are all excited about Imelda Staunton playing the Queen and Elizabeth Debicki replacing Emma Corrin whose performance as Princess Diana was beloved by series fans. Both are highly talented actresses who have done a brilliant job in the preparation and on the scenes, however, they had to go through some challenges along the way. Lesly Manville as the new Princess Margaret has done big research and absorbed her character's personality with the help of previous footage. The parade of stars continues - Jonathan Pryce will join the cast as Prince Philip. He had a positive experience working with Netflix on The Two Popes and even got an Oscar nomination!

For the crew of the project, the most challenging part was a scandal with Jemima Khan - the hired consultant who assisted in writing season five. She was a close friend of Princess Diana. Jemima made a scandalous statement, saying that her and Netflix's co-writing agreement was not honored, so the woman requested all her contributions be removed from the series and she even decline the credit! That's huge, but the consultant didn’t clarify what storyline she was talking about. That made Elizabeth Debiki lost and confused but she definitely managed to portray one of the most iconic women on Earth. Too many changes with the cast. I prefer the cast of the seasons before Nr. 5. Helena was perfect for example and Olivia Colman (and the others) could wear more make up to become "older". But the second change of actors is too much.

"The Crown" has tweaked the life of the royals the way Netflix wants it to be seen. Actually, the queen led quite a boring life. If they had to put the state dinners, luncheons, meetings, etc. on film, people would go into permanent snooze mode. Never watched one episode. Don't have Netflix. Don't care.
