Princess Diana putting on a masterclass of flirting here. The actress, Elizabeth Debicki, did a really good job capturing Diana’s subtle and intelligent flirty banter. Diana knew the art of captivating.

My dad and I were watching this episode and when Diana showed up on the screen my dad suddenly went speechless, completely froze. After a few seconds he said “Dianaaa!!”, completely shocked. It was the first time he was watching the series. Princess Diana was truly an amazing human, and the second my dad saw her portrayal on the show he reconnected with someone he had always admired. My oldest sister was name after her (may she rest in peace). Truly an amazing performance. I will never forget my father’s face.

This is my favorite scene in the whole season. The Queen is too uptight to sit with a new sponsor despite him being a millionaire/billionaire at that time. The replacement is the warm and kind Princess Diana. I'd say Mr Al Fayed hit the jackpot.

One of the most fun episodes in S5. Mohamed was painted likeable and Diana coming into the scene when he was sitting alone there, giving his ambitions a reward finally was a relief. They really did a good portrayal of how she was the only approachable member of the crown. tbh everyone else became quite unsympathetic and redundant except for her which was the intent I guess.

Elizabeth Debecki is by FAR the best of all the people that have played Diana! She has the voice down to a T!

I just watched this episode for the first time, this ending was truly heartwarming! Both of them were probably relieved to let their guard down and enjoy each other’s company.

I cried with this scene. The way they captured how beautiful it is to be kind and to treat others as equal. How kind was Diana that she made friends with old, young, poor, rich, local or foreign, not heartless people tho. What a beautiful soul. That is what really matters, what really impacts the world and people around us. And sorry but, even tho the queen was a good queen she would never have the same impact Diana had and keeps having years after she's passed. And all she did was being kind and having a warm heart.

I really like Mohammed Al Fayed's character in this and felt so much empathy for him. He just wanted to be accepted and thought he got it all, then it was torn away in the worst way possible. :'(
