Funny thing is is that his city he planned out is actually highly successful. Charles i think is a good man who just mad a horrendous choice in who he chose to marry. Clearly him and Diana were not a good match and that marriage weighed his potential down

I truly strongly believe if Charles didn't marry Diane he would be quite popular, especially with current generations. His views are quite progressive, especially about the environment and human rights (his remarks about Putin made me chuckle as a Russian).

Charles is fine, they shouldn't have forced him to marry Diana. That said we now have William and Catherine because of that union and they are going to be Brilliant.

Is it weird that I notice Charles hair here? Like Dominic West’s haircut here looks more 40’s or 50’s like and it’s the 90’s. And Jared Harris who plays George VI has a more modern hairstyle in The Crown, while it’s supposed to be the 1950’s.

This scene was made out to be like the biggest ego stroke to Charles the Crown has done, but to be honest, when I watched it, even remembering this sample just now, it seemed to underpin ongoing issues that affect his royal status to this day. Impulsive, temperamental, covering up instead of acknowledging and owning. I don't know what outside of not responding emotionally counts as maturity. Of course, Charles would see an open mention of his affair with Camilla as "adultery hoo-ha, " but the episode does show how he directly affected Camilla's life by stating so, and not seeing the cost on her for doing so. Let alone the cost on Princess Diana. He's still a manipulative rat of a person who doesn't see the consequences of his own actions. And with Diana dead 25 years, would much rather his apologists repeat his Gospel against her when he's been the snake the whole time. Now Harry and Meghan feel the poisoning effects.
