Parents Complain About PTA Drag Performance

A controversial performance in East Harlem was meant to be a talent show for grade school students, but what was on display has angered parents. CBS2's Vanessa Murdock has more.

You don't do something like that in front of elementary age students. It would be just as inappropriate if it had been a female instead of a man in drag.

Put aside, for a moment, that this is a man in dance
routine, legs spread, underwear exposed, etc, is strip club style
dancing. This is a children's school. Most city zoning laws typically
prohibit such businesses, "Gentlemen's Clubs", from locating near
schools. That consideration alone should have been brought up when the
school "leaders" were deciding on which acts appropriate for a school
talent show. This has nothing to do with being anti-personal choice and
everything to do with plan old common sense...

What the hell is wrong with people? How can anyone think this is OK at a Elementary school? This should have been stopped immediately.
I bet if someone would have got up there and said something about Jesus or started singing a Christian song they would have stopped it and made a public apology.
I am surprised one of the parents didn't walk up on stage and say enough is enough, I would have.

I'm gay and a former female impersonator and I find it disgusting as well. The gays need to stop throwing the gay agenda around. Acceptance comes from being a good person. Being gay is a small portion of who I am. There's so much more to life.

don't think this is absolutely horrible oh my goodness I wish I was in the position to homeschool my child thank God that my child does not go to the school but this should not have happened in this school or any other school around the world
