Welcome to episode 19 of Out of Line, we're your hosts Brynn Rumfallo and Kelsey Millar. Today, we're sharing our thoughts on forgiveness, healing, and our faith journey especially as it relates to our dads and dating. From locking up emotions and going through ups and downs in life to the impact of having stepfathers in their lives, we cover it all. Brynn reacts to Mackenzie Ziegler's new song Anatomy and how the lyrics really hit deep (we love you Kenzie!). With dating, we talk about the importance of shared values when considering a long-term commitment like marriage. For all the Dance Moms fans out there, we also talk about how our favorite reality TV show exploited Brynn's parents' divorce for drama... anyone here remember the Family Court group dance?!

16:40 THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT IS WITH MY OWN DAD. sometimes i feel so alone in it because i feel like people usually talk about people either being fully abandoned or fully loved - I so, so relate to the "he can do that, why can't you? why is it impossible for you but so easy for them?" and "I don't want to tell my parent how to parent every step of the way"!! and the i have no one to walk me down the aisle realization lol. so real, totally relate.

I lost my Dad to ALS as a teenager. I'm an only child and she hasn't started dating 7 years later. I want a loving Dad and siblings so badly. I pray God brings my Mom a man that treats her right. My Dad and Mom split too and he was abusive most of my childhood. I related so much to Anatomy. I cried. I'm also 27 and still single and I worry I'll never find a good guy who will love me forever. I spent so long in a toxic relationship and thought I could help change his outlook on life and help him quit drinking so much, but I failed. I still have love for him. I never had a healthy relationship to look up to, so I always date boys who use me. I feel worthless.

I went to similar drama with my dad, but he died because of cancer in 2011!❤

Just to clarify, Dance Moms actually did a dance called Family Court, but it was NOT about divorce, it was about a little girl being given away by her young mother.

I Just cut off toxic people that’s the best way for me to handle things. I’ve already dealt with so much mental an emotional abuse in my life verbal abuse. I have a lot of trauma that I don’t know how to cope with. I don’t know how to comprehend my emotions if that makes any sense. I’m just not good at dealing with them. Then my anxiety depression an ptsd gets worse. It’s like a never ending cycle. I’m highly sensitive to negative emotions an people I don’t like being around that or conflict anything that doesn’t involve good people or environment that is not the place for me. I’ve dealt with way to many narcissists an those people never wanna own up to there actions they don’t care about anyone but themselves there heartless an prideful people. They deny everyone an say they do nothing wrong when there the issue.
