Bart wasn't a bad kid, he just had bad parents, he tried hard, he really tried. Lisa since she was born took most of the attention, love and care, while Bart grew up alone, disguising his depression in jokes to hide the pain he felt. Not to mention that his father strangled him for everything and for whatever bad thing happened, Bart was to blame. :(

i was so closed to being bart in the final scene. i cried very hard at the end of this video and have a hard time even recognizing how much it resembles my life and my feelings. Thank you for giving me the ability to feel appreciated without having to take my life to feel loved. i realize now what a high cost it would be to take my life for the validation that i was a good person and a kid they could be proud of....

Depression can be hidden in different ways like lashing out at others or always being happy so before you judge someone just remember you don't truly know them or what they've gone through or what they are currently going through so no matter how someone treats you show them kindness and they just might feel a little better
