Something else many don't realize about old trucks or old cars in general is that they can sit for year's with weeds growing through them and all and still have basically no rust.

79 f150 4x4 short bed for me right now. I know most old school guys will probably tear me a new one but I love them early 80s square bodies too! Older trucks are better!

A old friend, who is no longer my friend, had a truck like that for about 2-3 yrs. He literally never took the key out of the ignition. I said your said nobody is gonna steal this fuckin thing. We was right and wrong. No one ever stole it from him. However, he stole it to begin with, with the keys in it. So he's right and wrong. And also no longer a friend of mine. I WAS RIDING AROUND IN A GODDAMN STOLEN TRUCK! Was the beginning of his fall due to drugs. He was always into pills but once those became harder to find he, along with like half the country, just switched to harder shit. I pour some out from time to time to remember him. Not dead but lost my best friend since 4th grade. Bc he's a head
