What is TF2's Best Weapon Reskin?

Weapon reskins in TF2 have always seemed like a strange case to me. On one hand, if you understand the meme, it's nice to have a funny video to watch. But on the other hand, the weapon reskins meme is dumb and I don't know why or how it became a thing, and a lot of people probably think I'm a loony for continuing to quote it. Memes aside, I like both my audience and TF2's selection of reskins, so another video on them was absolutely necessary. This time, I'm looking at each one and determining whether it's better than stock. This is entirely preferential, but this is also my video and I do what I want, so while your opinion is welcome it's also objectively wrong in every way possible if you disagree with me.

Fun fact, the holy mackerel is a direct upgrade to Scouts stock melee. This is because if you hit a spy with it and he dead ringers, it doesnt display as a fish kill, and only shows the picture of the fish.

You did not mention the fact that the Huntsman is a direct upgrade to its counterpart Fortified Compound, as if you have the cosmetic set equipped it can reduce the chance of hunger by up to 13%, a stat the Compound does not have.

This is a very important detail.

I respect the Ap Sap choice, but my favourite of the three Sappers has to be the Snack Attack.
It's just the way it saps stuff is so funny to me, seeing half the breadmonster sticking out of the building, wiggling around while cogs and metal are flying everywhere always fills me with joy.

The Prinny machete is always one of the funnier things for me. because it's such a big, meaty weapon and yet you can backstab with it.

Technically, the Engineer has one more reskin in the Pip-Boy for his PDA, and yes, this absolutely counts because the PDA can be strange while the Pip-Boy has no strange variant but effectively changes the appearance of the PDA UI.

8:06 The Giger Counter actually pronounced gee-gur (rhymes with eager) counter. The name is a reference to both the geiger counter tool and to the surrealist artist HR Giger, who's most known for designing the creature from the Alien movies. The reskin itself is even based on the motion tracker from the films. While many people tend to say guy-gur when referencing the artist, the pronunciation is indeed different.

Ham Shank has always been my favourite after getting a Genuine one traded and decided to name it “I have a Ham to kill everyone you Meat” plus you could theoretically eat it if you’re hungry while on the battlefield

I think I prefer the napalmer over the stock flamethrower. Even though it's an Alien reference, it reminds me of the aesthetic of post apocalypse games which is a look I really dig.

The Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker actually does have a strangifier, although you could only obtain it by opening certain crates during the Halloween event of 2014 I believe. This also makes them pretty damn expensive to get nowadays.

As someone who also loves the Blackrose (and wishes they had a Lugermorph), I hope Valve someday add some way (Such as Mann Vs Machine Rewards or something) for new players to obtain them/let you get muliples.

Personally I use the Iron Curtain more. Something about it just looks better than stock. The lugermorph is also amazing even though it does feel funky to use. Black Rose is just something to giggle over because it's so pretty. I hope to get pro ks kits for the things, I use em all the time
