Still love the fact that we still agree upon the fact that the characters pulling out glocks is still universally hilarious

I like how in Norse mythology, despite being the god of trickery or whatever, Loki never does anything directly malicious (most of the time)he just messes everything up.

Norse Mythology in a nutshell : Loki was bored so he pissed people off.

So most of these Norse stories starts with Loki causing some sort of mischief, and end with mass slaughter courtesy of Thor

I love how Vidarr's shoe becomes more and more of a shoe throughout the videos

Fun fact here in Norway we call Loki “loke” and if you “loker rundt” you fuck around, it’s not a direct translation but the meaning is the same haha

It’s amazing that I looked up Mythology Compilation and this masterpiece came up. If I looked this up 12 hours ago I wouldn’t have been graced with this

Loki seems to constantly forget the fact that they can shapeshift

Thor: god of strength and possibly the reason for lightning and thunder
Odin: Chief Aesir and god of wisdom and one of the gods presiding over war
Idun: goddess of youth and keeper of enchanted golden apple orchard and steward of the Aesir's quasi-immortality
"So, what's the deal with Heimdall? Does he just guard Asgard for Ragnarok? God of good eyesight?"
Heimdall: he fucks.

What I really like about Norse mythology is that their gods are "grounded" enough so that it is actually plausible and understandable that they can have all the cool adventures they have.
Unlike most other pantheons, these gods are below the universe, rather than "being" it (ahem, Egypt), they even constructed the world out of a bigass corpse, so you aren't constantly asking things like "wait why can they lose eyes" or "why do they need walls", etc, they aren't conceptual beings, they're pretty much a powerful race of dudes.

You hooked me with the “most explanations aren’t metal enough.” Well done

Funniest thing about this is how Loki is ok with mating with a horse but draws the line at an incell

I never understood why Loki needed Freya's cloak to fly when he already can shapeshift

If Norse mythology was in D&D it'd be one hell of a campaign

so the gods can get cyber-hair, a foldable ship, and a Spear with loyalty and aim bot, but can't get a prosthetic arm?
