I know it's not a popular opinion but I think the idea of Medusa being a mortal daughter of two gods, without a real place among mortals or immortals, has much more interesting potential for stories than making her the 85th victim of an Olympian's libido.

I think Apollo playing the flute upside down even though it doesn’t make sense because he’s a god is so fucking cool dude

Gotta love how Typhon never seems to stop screaming.

The greek god family tree is a circle.

I'd love to see some videos on the Etruscan deities, alongside the Carthaginians, as they're highly underrated imo. It should also be noted that the Roman deities were not just carbon copies of the Ancient Greeks but also may have taken inspiration from the Latin's northern neighbours in Etruria!

I would love a Greek version of The Journey to the West

Can you show the Roman forms of your gods because you made Neptune and Minerva unique form their Greek forms like the heroes of Olympus? That would be cool. Maybe discuss the differences between Greek and Roman gods

@5:15 - Pan's "I'm With Stupid" shirt is easily the best thing you've ever done. :)

Hey jake! maybe you should do a video on Artemis and Apollo telling their tales or some lesser known gods or on Poseidon son Polyphemus and how Odysseus stabbed out his eye.

It is better to say "patron god of..." than "god of..." because they don't have specific powers, just represent specific things.

This honestly helps me a lot on some things as I’m trying to write a fictional book about monsters throughout mythology and legends and Typhon is a center focus for my main character to release. Now I have some more beings I can use as I wanted to try to be as accurate as possible, but also have the idea of showing that they evolved throughout the years in their own way instead of what we know of them back then

A lot of these are going to end with... and then Heracles killed him.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Hekate mentioned in the myths, if you have good sources or myths about her I’d love for you to cover her

I love the history of Aeneas. Especially the part where Virgil on his death bed begged his apprentice to burn his weird Homeric Aeneas Fan-Fiction. He did not. FYI, that's where the Byzantium Empire comes from, and why Rome actually moved the capitol.
