STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - 4K ULTRA HD – ‘Return’ Cinematic Trailer

In celebration of 10 years of SWTOR, we’re re-releasing all of our classic cinematic trailers enhanced in 4K. “Return” was initially launched on June 6th, 2011.

The year-long celebration of our 10th anniversary kicks off with Legacy of the Sith, a new expansion that marks the starting point to a full year of galactic intrigue, conflict, and mystery. Legacy of the Sith will send players to the darkest depths and farthest reaches of the galaxy and unlock the ability to choose your personal combat style, allowing for more options than ever before when it comes to living in your own Star Wars fantasy.

My favourite part is always 3:16. Sith decides to blast the ship with lightning and the trooper comes out firing a rocket to help out. Just very brief, genuine exchanges that are so cool.

Honestly I like the more ancient look of these characters, The Smuggler looks like a cowboy, The Trooper is using a Minigun firing smaller blaster bolts, The Jedi and Sith look like they are more like knights and less like monks or such, The “Astromech” Droid is using bulky wheels and the “Millenium Falcon” Ship has only two engines and isn’t very rounded

I just love these ancient times.

1:34 I love the little detail of the heavy lifting his cannon upright while turning so he doesn't flag his fellow trooper. Great attention to detail that the trooper would 100% practice.

See how Satele Shan wield her double saber at 2:47? It's like a pikeman charging into the fight, such a aesthetically appealing stance, shows that those creators took inspiration from reallity and make these force-wielders actually warrior-like.

The moment when Satele tosses her saber and her Master already jumped up into the air to catch it before she finishes calling out to him is such an amazing detail showing how Jedi use the Force as a medium for foresight in combat, giving off the illusion of impossible reflexes.

I love how they incorporated martial arts into the lightsaber combat, instead of just fencing they make full use of extra strength the force can give.
