Protected by the legendary Jedi Order, the Galactic Republic stood as a bastion of peace in the galaxy for a thousand generations. As these brave soldiers take to the forests and mountains to fight a guerilla campaign against Malgus's forces, the Republic fleet rushes back to repel the invasion. With time running out and Alderaan's capitol threatened, it falls to Havoc Squad, the elite Republic Special Forces unit, to coordinate one last desperate stand against Malgus' vastly superior numbers.

I like how Darth Malgus’ face slowly gets more and more scarred as the trailers go on. Starting as a pristine, blemish free face, ending in a monstrous, Darth Vader like look.

Just in case anyone else wants to know who the characters are: the "King" is Valkorion, the "Queen" (mom) is Senya Tirall, the little girl (daughter) is Vaylin, the twin brothers are Thaxan (in black) and Arcann (in white), the soldier is Jace Malcom, the bald pale Sith Lord is Darth Malgus, the woman with double-bladed lightsaber is Satele Shan, the guy at the temple is Ven Zallow, the blue girl is Eleena Daru, the bounty hunter is Shae Vizla, the guy with horns is Kao Cen Darach, the smuggler is Nico Okarr, and the red guy is Vindican.

Each of these trailers are minutes long by themselves, yet they still manage to accomplish more story-telling and character development, while having some of the best lightsaber combat we'll ever see than the sequel trilogies.

I think the entire Star Wars fan-base is living on the hope that Star Wars will one day look like this. If a full length, quality trilogy was made looking like this you would have people queuing, sleeping outside the theaters, like they did in the past.

But seeing the general direction that Hollywood is taking with their feature films it will never happen.

At 10:10 that is by far one of the best star wars scenes every made. The realistic explosion gunshots and just the how the troopers had no sense of danger or worry of death but just heroically charging to their death and single handedly taking down sith.
