very handy

I bought this dash mount phone holder for myself a couple of months ago due to the advice of a friend. I didn't realize how handy it would be until I had installed it. I was a little skeptical about how well it would attach, and if it would actually stay in place while I was driving, but so far it works perfectly. My phone easily sticks onto the dash magnet and stays in position no matter however I arrange it. I had to cut a hole in the back of my Otterbox to accommodate the provided metal disk that connects to the dash magnet, which is something you may want to consider, depending on the phone cover you have. Another thing to consider is what type of dash you have to attach it to. It needs at least a full square inch or more of a smooth, hard surface on the car dash for the adhesive pad to stick to. For me the biggest advantage is when I'm using my GPS. I also like the fact that it keeps my phone out of my hands while I'm driving, eliminating the temptation to thumb through my phone while driving.
