This is a magnetic car mount kit made for any phone out there. Can also work if you have a phone case as well. Does not work as well on Silicone cases unfortunately.

Does it sit safe on the dash, the ball part I mean? I cannot get vent holders etc to stick

Can't get the ball to stick anywhere maybe it's the cold weather. Going to try some double side tape

It sounds ideal. Except, for the part where the other magnet has to be attached to your phone or phone case.

A friend of mine drove off with his phone clinging to his car after pumping gas and leaving his phone on the rear fender. He was hauling down the highway and saw it in his rearview mirror. Strong magnets, I guess.

Interesting product and I'm inclined to try it but I guess I'm old school as I was taught to keep magnets away from computer devices. Even in the video, the camera doing the recording gets wonky/wavy around 1:30 when you hold the iPhone near the recording camera. Can you chime in on this? It's been over a year since the video was posted - are you still using the steelie?

I bought one of these but the magnet is stronger than the sticker thing and it just kept pulling off. I put it on the back of an iPhone 8 exactly at the instructions said. Surely I’m not the only one with this problem?

Only problem is that mount is going to be annoying when i want to use my phone flat on a desk etc. Local store has them on sale so i looked for a review. Thanks for the vid

Does it shake a lot while driving? Also if it does does the phone have a chance of tilting to dif. Angles due to road Conditions going at or about 25 mph with bumpy roads or 40 - 80mph of flat highway? ...I'm considering this but I'm skeptical on the study Ness ....I don't want my phone to be sliding up and down and having to adjust angle while driving

This will WIPE OUT all of your credit card magnetic strips. The magnet is the part that goes on your phone and it is a VERY strong magnet. It took me a while to realize why my credit cards were going bad – first one, then two then all of them. It's because I was slipping my phone in the same pocket where I keep loose cards and it instantly wipes them out. They need a cap or something for when it is not being mounted to the steel ball.

Hey, thanks for making the video quick. But I was wondering . . . Doesn't having a sticky annoying piece of metal stuck to your phone get annoying outside of car use? Like if I wanna stick it in my pocket, I have this annoying chunk of obnoxious metal on my phone that won't come off because it uses 3M. Also, will this work with an ipad mini? (I'm guessing yes) But is it obnoxious to have this stuck to your phone 24/7?
