thanks so much, i had modded mineceraft with 50 mods, it kept doing that 1 fps lag and my memory heap kept going up to 100%, i amped it up to 8 gigs and it helped alot

i did this and it has allocated more ram to it yes but it still chooses to use 2 to 1 gb even though it can use 7 gb of ram how do you fix that?

Once you press f3 it shows you a false memory % open you’re task manager and you’ll that in fact see you didn’t limit or add any ram to minecraft and it still uses what it wants

What if it says, -Xmx8416m -Xms256m? Mine looks a little different than everybody elses so I'm not exactly sure what to replace here...
