My issue with AE, even STILL in 2021, is it uses MORE ram than allowed. I will limit it to 96GB and it will fly right past that up to 127GB crashing my system. I even tried limiting it to 64GB. Nope. Adobe forums are full of similar posts. Adobe has had no response. YAY SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE! GRRRR.

Okay, whenever I preview something it would only preview like 10 seconds of the clip, and the clip itself is thirty seconds, why won’t ir display the whole thing?

the setting i save in the memory i put 3 gb in ae and i have 16 after i restarted the after effectsAnd Checked the memory The memory is set to 0 why is this happening

My edit takes way too much time to export in media encoder so what should i do ? Do i have to change the amount of RAM used in other apps or the % of my processor that will be used in other apps ?

Sir, I have After Effects 2021. I have i5 10th Generation Processor with DDR4 16 GB RAM. Since i7 Processor is quite expensive, cannot afford for such an expensive one.
I observed while masking it takes a long time to get the masking fully processed. My question is if I increase my RAM to 32 GB, will it make the system faster. Kindly advise
