Nice but overpriced, should have launched at $399. The base iPad was always a attractive and easy recommendation when it was in the $300 range now it's like apple has gone backwards and are charging more just because it's the more modern design.

I like the yellow, no idea why ? However ..in the UK schools have hundreds and thousands of gen 9, I don’t think they’ll move away from that any time soon, so I can’t see many people paying the extra …

Check the color very carefully before you purchase. The "yellow" is actually a nasty shade of gold

I think apple totally forgot the initial appeal of the stand iPad line- the price. This isn’t too expensive but for not much more the iPad Air is a better option in many ways

I just need an iPad, for larger screen tasks when I don't want to open my MBP. I don't need the extra keyboard (I have the MBP for that) and pencil (I don't make art). Just buying this device alone will be enough for me and that going for the iPad Air won't really make a big difference. I also like that this has the updated form factor
