You could make a video or video’s showing the pros and cons to all the different locks, and how they’re supposed to function. This one here looks like a good design.✌🏻

I’m glad you showed this. I will not believe a knife with a coil spring in the action is superior to a flat spring. Thank you thank you thank you! No atlas locks for me!

It's spydercos compression lock that comes in from the end rather than the side. I mean all three Spyderco this one and Benchmade axis are all about metal peace getting compressed by the tang and anything braced by the handle

Works just like the Triad lock except it's oriented differently. Sweet.

What's the flashlight in top left corner? 😮

Interesting look at the inner workings. And something else of interest is the Doug Ritter page at knife Works. Hogue sources the omega Springs from WOLFF. 👍🏻

Very informative. Thanks for this. I wonder how much stronger is this lock compared to the very reliable “Tri-Ad Lock”. It has “Tri-Ad Lock” features but with an added layer of security. I own an AK-47 and I love it. I want to get a Spartan and a Mayhem as well.
I can only say one thing: Cold Steel D. E. L. I. V. E. R. S. !!!
Far out!!!

Yes! Do every button lock design. Good luck 👍

At a quick glance, that looks like it might be the strongest locking mechanism around. The sheer amount of material in the stop pins, the lock interface, etc. looks to me like you’d be more likely to shear the the pivot before the lock itself fails.

nice except for the coil spring. should have a super strong spring like on a gun hammer.

Tbh after my pm2 I'll never buy another lock in the path of the blade.

Pm2 is hands down my favorite knife ever.

Looks really similar to the shark lock with maybe some added redundancy

Unfortunately the 4max scout and the sr1 lite exist, so there's almost no reason to get the engage unless you like smaller knives? Or want the atlas lock. I'd buy a 4" aus8 version for probably 60-80 USD
