"You merely adopted the guac. I was born in it, molded by it."

As a Puerto Rican, my mother’s guac is chunky, it has things like Jalapeños, Onions, and Tomatoes (avocados + other stuff too). Just because this creator makes guac different doesn’t mean he’s wrong. Every spanish speaking country has different traditions because of items that are accessible.

Nothing hits like avocado with lime and salt with tortilla chips after a long ass day

Our family adds lime, salt, and garlic. If you get the perfect combination, each bite hits you with the lime flavor, then you taste the base of avocado, with an after taste of garlic, it's sooo good!!!

as another mexican, i know TONSSS of variations of guac. the ones my family personally likes most are the chunky ones with onions and tomato, but my favorite is literally just avocado with lime and salt. its still guac. theyre just different types 💀

I like mine with onion and tomato but that’s the beauty of guac. You do it your own way

Guac with lime and salt is seriously underrated.

It always depends what part of Mexico your family is from/you grew up in. Different regions of Mexico have different ways of making the same dish, and thats awesome because it shows how diverse the food culture is from family to family :)

Yeah, in Michoacán they definitely use onion, tomatoes, jalapeno, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

As a part Mexican and someone who has lived in central America for half my life. I always use Avocado, lemon, salt, cilantro, and onions.

The man is right. This variation was one of my favorite meals growing up. Just the guac with tortillas. Still hits the spot today.
