I want to “THANK YOU” for doing the testing on all the different foods and drinks that affect our bodies. Very helpful information to know! I know people vary, but this gives us an idea of what happens. TY!!

Great content. Short and to the point. I cut out all sugar from my diet, including processed /ready meal foods. I also fast for a full 16 hours a day, eating nothing after a cooked from scratch dinner until a wholesome salad lunch the following day. Not only has my weight gone down to what it was in my youth, and stayed down, I don't crave food in the mornings anymore. Fasting is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. My energy levels are great and this is a long-term lifestyle change I can easily live with.

I heard insulin resistance explained many times but never understood it like today. Thank you for bringing the science down to layman's level! Now I can even explain it to others 😊

Thank you for posting this one!
I actually FEEL BETTER when fasting. I have more energy and everything just seems to work properly, no more up & down energy levels. Getting past the first hurdle is rough with the cravings but then everything levels out and I no longer feel the urgent need to eat.

I argued with my Doctor who was a PA. She said my Tryclycerides were high. And I explained yes, I have been drinking coke a lot lately in the hot weather, and needed to stop. She said no it's your blood fat and you need to cut out cheese, meat, butter, and other fatty foods. So I said test me again in a couple months. So she scheduled me for another blood test in 3 months. So I cut out sugar for 6 weeks, and ate tons of steak, burgers, grilled cheese, and only used half and half in cereal, and in my coffee😂. I went back and my triglycerides had dropped from 315 to 128 in just 6 weeks with no sugar. She laughed, and said that's good, but your cholesterol was high. 😂😂😂😂. But I proved my point. Sugar, sugar, sugar. Only way to beat it is to work out so much that you burn it as soon as it goes in the body.

Humans were never designed to handle the amount of carbs that are consumed on a typical standard diet. As a result, humans are developing Insulin Resistance without even knowing it, which in my opinion, is the #1 driver of health issues in this country. The more awareness that is brought to the forefront on this matter, the better off we'll all be.

I went through a long-lasting trauma, now recovering from eating disorders. My body made many bad choices, I have eaten in the worst scenario anyone can imagine. That is why, I love this chanel! It really helps to realize, what is with the nowadays industry wrong. Only the prices are difficult. Eating salmon, eggs, avocadoes.. nice, but so pricey. Fasting can be great to accomodate, as a lower calories intake needed, so that no need to buy as much of things.

Thank you for illustrating how the blood sugar spikes for various food items we consume everyday. This is one of the most valuable channels I follow and I believe this will make a substantial change in my lifestyle!

What happens to professional eaters' insulin levels, I wonder? This is an important channel for a basic understanding of insulin by SHOWING us how each food affects us. Great idea for a channel and very helpful. 👍🏻
