I found this video to be very clear and satisfying, despite my lack of background in philosophy. I look forward to other such videos, especially including possible discussions of the most successful counters to the more recent Platonic arguments.
For example, without my having been consulted on it, I was raised as a "Christian Scientist", which entails that I was taught that seven pure idealized concepts are collectively identical to God, and that they are the only things that are "real", and that all "observable matter" is an ungodly illusion. It would be satisfying to have some succinct responses to address this position. Thanks for reading this.

I like the video and at the same time the phrase: "you're also probably on the autism spectrum" might cause some unnecessary offense to solitary mammals who do not hold (neo) platonistic metaphysical beliefs and who might point to 4:25 as a distraction.

I can see the value of understanding philosophy prior to THE scientific method. But, what value can we in the modern age obtain from asking questions that can't have an answer (such as is there an absolute truth, a priori knowledge and how it works, whatever else)? What value does philosophy have now that we can just go ahead and probe the universe rather than reasoning it to death? good video BTW. Um...the guy at the end speaking into the microphone....he has a beard...is he dead? :)
