Toyota RAV4 Hybrid VS non hybrid maintenance cost review!

In this video, I compare what the wear and tear maintenance was like on two Toyota RAV4’s.

One is a hybrid Rav4 and the other is a non hybrid Rav4! This video reinforces the statements made in other toyota hybrid maintenance videos I have done.

I drive a ‘16 Rav4 Hybrid. Before that I drove a 2010 V6 Rav4 and before that A ‘97 Rav4. Knock on wood…..so far I have never had a single repair, except for wreck repairs. Virginia, USA

People claiming the brakes replaced to early don’t get it it’s the stupid radar cruise control hitting the brakes unnecessarily.. my 2020 Corolla needed new brakes at 83k

The brake pads and rotors replacement at 63K miles sounds awfully early even for the regular RAV4, surprisingly early for the hybrid model.
Do they have e-brakes?

Use of the word “shocking” is click bait. There are differences, but shocking is not an appropriate descriptor. That said, I appreciate your comparison as we are considering buying a new RAV4 hybrid, assuming we can find one and don’t have to pay a premium over MSRP.

Is it easy for car owner to change the hybrid filter themselves, like changing the motor filter and the cabin filter?

does not make much sense. On my Toyota Sienna 2017, the front brakes were replaced at 82000km, rear brakes at 105000km. Obviously, this is not a hybrid. You indicated hybrid brake replacement about 80000km, which looks the same wear and tear
