As of 5th May 2024 in Virginia. Hybrid XLE cost you more 2500 than ic XLE and after tax and finance charges it will cost you 3500. To reach break even it will take approx 8 years considering avg gas price of 3.50/ gallon. You will save approx 3 cents per mile. Based on above data, you need to drive 120k miles to reach break even.

219 hp is weak no matter what. 325 is as low as I go

I had one of those but in real world it doesn't give that much MPG specially on highway mine was 32mpg to 28mpg.
And had fuel tank issue too.
Inside cheap crappie plastic too much noise come from outside specially cabin and engine noise

219hp pushing 3500+ lbs is terrible. I'm assuming the mpg is strictly highway because its definitely dumping fuel everytike it accelerates.

My 2017 Rav4 can get 34 miles per gallons without the hybrid feature. My 2024 Mazda CX-90 has inline-6 engine with mild hybrid, can get 34 miles per gallons. So, 40 miles per gallon for RAV4 hybrid is not that impressive.
