It looks great! I saw one at night on.the highway driving home this evening. The headlights are brighter than the jewel eye beams on my Acura. The rear end and side profile all look great! The powertrain may be crap, but fantastic job on the new design!!

13:15 IMO the Equinox is KILLING it in every department, but the powertrain was a total fail, I think because GM was putting all their eggs in the EV basket and spent nothing on ICE improvements. For example, Nissan's 1.5T FWD w/ CVT makes 201hp/225ftlbs and in a same weight and size vehicle does 37mpg highway. Chevy's 1.5T FWD w/ CVT makes 175hp/184ftlbs and 29mpg highway. Yikes!

1:22 that’s a GM special for as long as I can remember. They love putting chromed and reflective surfaces on the inside and without fail will catch the sun just right to blind you. Happened in my dad’s 94 Cadillac, happened in my old 2010 Malibu, happens in my mom’s 2022 Buick Envision

The cons:
- Does not have lane following assist. Should have a button under cruise control beside the "L" gear button dedicated to it but doesn't have the function at all while competitors have.
- Does not have headlight controls at hand. The way we always had before on the left side is so much easier to control headlights. Don't mess with it GM!
- Welcome lights and proximity fob sensor are annoying. It should have better options in controls/settings. Option to disable lights turning on while approaching the vehicle for instance.
- A bigger engine like a 2.0L option, a phev trim and better fuel economy would be great but being honest those things do not bother me that much after driving it for a while. The previous ones are also easier and less expensive to fix.

We just got a brand new 2025 chevy equinox LT FWD in December 2024, with the safety and technology package. We've had it for about 4 months now and we love it! The CVT does have a good kick to it and will get you up to your speed, but I do wish Chevy would of done better with the engine. The google assistant you can also if you have a google home in your hope connected with light switches or your thermostat you can say "hey google (then your command)" and then it will do that command in your house (just thought if people were wondering). And we have had 3 Chevy equinox's over the past 9 years (we leased them) and our favorite is the 2025 with the refreshed design on the inside and out!
