Great video! Explaining in writing also works for me. The other day I heard Michael Munger say "you don't really understand it until you write it." When you can summarize a concept in less than 500 words that anyone would understand, that's when it sticks.

Totally agree this works. I also like to take notes as if I'm preparing to teach a class on it. That mindset tends to change what I decide to write down and how I note it. Following up with teaching someone (or a imaginary person) has been hugely beneficial to me.
