I just thought of this and wanted to ask the people in the comment section (for context: I am still in school with learning disabilities) what are some of the 'icks' you have about men, but make them realistic (not like don't take a nap or don't be safe on the road) I'll go first:
1. Someone who needs to be more accommodating to my learning differences.
2. Someone who is always firm and unwilling to be goofy when needed.
3. Someone who isn't kind.
4. Someone who babies me always and doesn't give me the push I need to succeed.

When I was 22 I thought I was the most pathetic man who ever lived because I'd never dated. ALL the advice was "work on yourself", and also never to approach women since Elliot Rodger and Gamergate had happened (work out how to date without talking to women). I tried. 32 now and still never dated and the standards feel even further away. I've tried so hard to "fix" myself I'm not even sure who I am any more.

I turn 30 this year and I haven’t been in a relationship for 8 years, although I’d love to start a family and settle down in todays day and age there is almost no chance to find a girl willing to do that anymore, so instead I’ve changed careers and working on 2 career options at the same time. I was already sh** out of luck even without the blasted ick list, despite the fact that I can put in the effort to maintain a healthy relationship if I was given the opportunity.

23 year-old man (who avoids Tik-Tok like the plague) here, and I've pretty much lost hope in finding a girlfriend (for reasons other that the ick list). An almost complete lack of self-confidence / being nervous to even try is the main issue; it doesn't help that seemingly all of my female friends from school are already taken.

If there are women in New Zealand that believe in the ick list, I'm stuffed.
