I drowned once but my dad helped me but when i was fully under water i felt like 4 pairs of hands on my back almost like 2 people helping me but when i got out the water my dad said "who helped u up to the top of the water" then i said "i dont know" while trying to breathe i then i said "i felt 4 pairs of hands helped me. "(2 ppl bc each person has 2 arms so 2 +2=4) and he was shocked and said " well u got lucky because jesus and ur guardian angel was with you. " and i started crying because while getting push up to the top of the water i heard someone say "i always help you my sweet angel child" then i prayed of saying thank you

As a survivor of drowning I can confirm ALL of this is true I was 7 years old and just finished my swimming lessons and was finally aloud in the big pool but on the shallow side only my brother had finished all of his classes before me since he was older so he and his friend were hanging out in the deep end I wanted to impress them so I swam over there they were talking and didn’t notice I was even coming over there I started to slide underneath the water and soon realized I was drowning I was under the water for a minute before they noticed I was not breathing and my brothers friend pulled me up. If you ever read this thank you so much you are the reason I’m here today and if for some reason you see this it was at life time fitness and the friend you were with was Hudson.

I hate to be that person but tysm for the likes 💀

Edit: why did y’all like this so much 😍😍😍

And ALWAYS keep in mind that drowning happens silently!!! No loud yelling nor wildly splashing water. Remember, the drowning person doesn't even have the strengh to stay up water and is merely busy with staying alive than screaming ☝️

I can answer this as somebody that almost died to drowning. You feel nothing but panic. Lungs don't burn, you just stop trying to use them because you're underwater. Luckily I got saved, spat out the water after being unconscious then I had the biggest burp I've ever had in my life.

As a lifeguard sometimes you're underwater, trying to save someone or operate equipment, the feeling you get when you drown is none of this, your body will force itself to surface, as you panic and your heart feels like it's going to implode.

I almost drowned trapped under a sail at a scout camp a few years ago. I would have died most likely if the scouts did not have a strict buddy system in place. My buddy was able to show me an air hole and the way out before I was completely trapped. I remember the panic vividly. Now I have claustrophobia but I still love the water. The utter panic and fear of not surviving it is unreal. It is horrible to experience and I'll thank my lucky stars I wasnt alone and was saved.

watched this video last night before i went to bed. knew i would have some sort of dream about it. Heres the dream:
*PART ONE*
so i was at school and we were learning about the titanic. the teachers came up with this wild idea that if we experienced what it felt like on the titanic we would learn a lot. the next day at school, the schedule said right after homeroom, “titanic” in bold. after homeroom, we all left the building. I life in the middle of nowhere, but the school must have magically appeared infront of an ocean. it looked like a mild storm was about to come. classes from every grade sat down in lines on a massive dock, and i sat down by my bsf. I had no idea what was going on, but the ocean looked creepy. In the water was a massive inflatible boat tipping back and forth
part two in ten likes❤
*PART 2*
so the principal walked up to the top of the dock and explained that we were doing a titanic survival activity. then she said that every student had to have a relative chaperoning us individually. then she announced that the seventh grade was up first. afraid, i got up and my nani appeared and was magically right infront of me. so i chose her and nervously walked down the dock in a line with everyone else in my class.
part 3 in 50 likes <3
*PART 3*
so theres this like bridge that goes out to the boat so we all go and get on the bout and climb up to a spot. LIKE ITS FREAKING SCARY but everyone is acting so chill. i wanted to like see why no one was nervous but i im NOt popular and dont talk to anyone. then the bout starts tipping. and then. i. fall. *part 4 in 100 likes*
*PART 4*
so when i fall, i immediately blackout and start sinking into the water. i *start reaching for the top, but cant get up.* but then I randomly pop right up and climb onto the “boat”. the back of the boat was like cubical, it had four sides of big inflatable walls, and the top was open and the water was at the bottom. i get into the back and climb up to the edge of the top. my nani was up there, but as i saw her, she fell into the water tragically. I screamed, but she never came back up to the surface *part 5 in 200 likes <3*

I have drowned before and here is the story of how

So basically I went to the public pool with my family to just hang and out and go swimming ofc. So basically I didn’t know how to swim very well so I cannonballed into what I thought was the more shallow part but apparently it wasn’t, the signs on the pools that showed how deep it was were wrong. So at first I panicked when I realized that I couldn’t reach the bottom, and then I tried to swim back up but I couldn’t manage to make it, and my parents were gone at the bathroom to change into their swimsuit so they couldn’t help, so when I was trying to swim back up, I just kept getting water into my mouth and nose and I was coughing up water and inhaling water and everything. So I had goggles on so I could see, I was just trying to swim to the bottom so I could launch myself back up but by the time I was at the bottom it was too late and I had no breath left cause it was around 9 feet deep, so I breathed a ton of water through my nose and it burned my nose and chest so bad, and my vision did get blurry and messed up, but by the time I knew it I was already up onto the concrete coughing up water and blood so yea I just kinda felt some after effects like chest burning and I was scared to go in the water after that.

So that is my story of how I drowned😅
