Sounds like she hates her own life and what she has made of it, but externalize the hate on the husband, as kind of a "scapegoat".

I guess she can't deal with the guilt of ruining her own life and needs to project it on someone else. Very much likely that it all spiraled into depression, which she needs help with. But she has to realize it herself, sadly nobody can be forced into therapy.

No... Not a sip... When there are kids involved THAT makes it 10000% harder to walk away. While my situation is better, its adjacent and my kids are pretty much the only reason im still there. Hopefully when they get older and can make the coice of whom theyd rather live with ill have the means to leave.
