She's just trash. She walked out cause she didn't want to be there for you during one of the most vulnerable moments in your life. If she is this "needy" then she has other glaring issues for attention. She's a narcissist and can do no wrong in her eyes. You being crippled with depression after losing a brother you were incredibly close to is natural. I hope she realizes how pitiful she is and cleans her act up, but narcissist never do learn and that's their issue.

The OP's ex wife has lost a good man within her ex husband and she has herself to blame and no one else period, at least he has found love within a close friend from high school and that's a good thing for sure.
