I know that the men signing with Calypso are problaly just so the song will be more cool BUT I like to think they can represent Odysseus' crew and the lines they repeat after Calypso like also have something to do with the eariel events because they also felt like they got betrayed. Idk if that makes sense - tried to explain 😞

So if I pushed you Or if I came on too strong - kinda the whole opening the wind bag situation
For that, I'll say I was wrong - that could be also connected with Eury opening the wind bag and killing the cows
Hate that I fell in love with you Why did I fall in love with you? - Hate that I trusted you Why did I trusted you? (when Zeus comes and Odysseus chooses Penelope and his son over the crew)
