Save the seeds. You can boil them in lightly salted water until you can poke a fork through it then they’re good to eat. I like to lay them out and let it air dry after cooking because there’s a skin layer that’s hard to chew so drying it makes it easier to peel off, otherwise you can them right away 😊

My favorite! Even the white parts of the fruit adjacent to the yellow ones, I love to eat. Here in the Philippines, we also boil the seeds and eat it, it resembles the texture of a mixture of nuts and root crops such as sweet potato.

We(Bangladesh) Don't use knife to cut jackfruit. When its perfectly ripe, we simply tear it up. Jackfruit is the National fruit here.
We cook raw one with meat. Very tasty.

In Indonesia we call it Nangka n yes its so sweet n delicious. You can also chop it into small pieces then mix it with vanila ice cream or coconut ice cream. Best combo ❤

As a Bangladeshi we save the seeds. After they dry and you peel them you can cook them in a curry or mash them with peppers, onions etc and make a spicy side dish. It’s honestly the best part of the jackfruit.

You can cook the yellow fruit in water and brown sugar and you’ll have sweetened/caramelized jackfruit that you can add in desserts.
