3 U.S. Marshals killed, 5 other law enforcement officials injured while serving warrant

An attempt to serve a warrant turned deadly Monday when a U.S. marshal task force member and two correction officers were shot and killed while trying to serve a warrant in Charlotte.

In all, eight law enforcement officials were shot, including another marshal task force member and four Charlotte-Mecklenburg four police officers.

The deadly saga began around 1:30 p.m. when the U.S. Marshals Task Force went to serve a warrant on a convicted felon believed to have illegal firearms. #shorts #northcarolina #news

They were serving a warrant on a felon with a firearm. Multiple armed felony convictions and an attempted murder charge out on bond. Once again the justice system has failed the people. He should of never been out to begin with.
