4 members of U.S. Marshals killed in North Carolina

A U.S. Marshals task force is investigating after four members were fatally shot while serving a warrant Monday morning in North Carolina. Five other law enforcement members were also hurt in the hours-long standoff that followed. FOX's Kevin Uretsky reports.

Additional officers, responding to aid those initially downed, were wounded when a second shooter opened fire as they arrived at the Charlotte neighborhood after the primary suspect had been neutralized, stated Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings.

"Today we lost some heroes who were simply trying to keep our community safe," Jennings remarked during a news conference.

After a three-hour standoff in a suburban Charlotte neighborhood, armored vehicles breached a home, tearing off windows and doorways.

The Police chief said, "we have confirmed that the individual that was set up", this story has so many holes in it, how did he manage to kill 4 law enforcement officers while in the front yard? Then how was he killed in the front yard when swat team had to breach the house ?? He just ran right past SWAT? Like wtf is going on with this story, so much confusion

Terry Clark Hughes Jr. is the name of the now deceased suspect in this shooting. Look him up. He's EXACTLY who y'All thought he would be.

Gather the facts first. It was one US Marshall, 2 Dept of Corrections officers and one Charlotte officer who died and three Charlotte officers who were shot.

What part of the report is the tragedy? Armed men invaded a sovereign home with the intent to do harm. If they faced this kind of force on every unconstitutional tyrannical raid, maybe they would learn a skill and get a real job and be a productive asset to society instead of the bad guys.
