The Sith Lord continued to scream, when Vader finally threw him down the reactor shaft, but as he fell several kilometres, he still had time to think of a plan. His first thought was that he believed he could win, and instead of thinking about how he had been betrayed, he focused on transferring his spirit to his empty vessel. The Sith Lord also knew, that his supposed death would trigger a set of droids, with each one delivering orders to chosen Imperial officers, and initiate Operation Cinder, which would see the fall of his own Empire.
